Privacy Notice
Effective: June 10, 2026 · ProfitLine Accounting LLC
Legal documents are published in English. Questions about any section? Write to us — we’ll gladly walk you through it.
Plain-English summary
- We collect only what you give us — your name, contact details, and what you write to us.
- No advertising trackers and no sale of your personal information. The only thing the site stores in your browser is your language choice.
- Client financial records are protected by your engagement agreement and used only to do your work.
- Email us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
§ 01Scope
This Privacy Notice explains how ProfitLine Accounting LLC (“ProfitLine,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or enroll in a ProfitLine Academy course. It does not replace the confidentiality terms of a client engagement agreement — for bookkeeping, payroll, and tax document work, that agreement governs how we handle your business and financial records.
§ 02Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you fill out the contact form, email us, message us on WhatsApp, call, or enroll in a course, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, the topic of your inquiry, and the contents of your message. For course enrollment we also collect billing details; card payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. The website stores one value in your browser’s local storage: your language preference (English or Russian). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this website.
Information from messengers. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that platform processes your messages under their own terms and privacy policies.
§ 03How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services or courses you request;
- To schedule consultations and sessions, send confirmations, and provide course materials;
- To invoice and process payments;
- To maintain the security and operation of the website;
- To comply with legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations;
- With your consent, to send occasional updates about courses or services — you can opt out at any time.
§ 04How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate — website hosting, email, scheduling, document exchange, video conferencing, and payment processing — under terms that limit their use of your information;
- Licensed professionals (such as CPAs or EAs), only at your direction or with your consent, when your work requires them;
- Authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property;
- A successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Notice.
§ 05Cookies and Local Storage
The only data this website itself stores in your browser is your language preference (pl-lang) in local storage, so the site opens in the language you chose. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Because we do not use cross-site tracking, there is nothing for “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals to opt out of on this site.
§ 06Client Financial Records
Books, payroll records, tax documents, and other materials you give us as a client are used solely to perform the engaged work, are protected by the confidentiality terms of your engagement agreement, and are never used for marketing. Access is limited to team members who work on your account.
§ 07Retention
We keep general inquiries for up to 24 months after the conversation ends. Course enrollment and billing records, and client work records, are kept for as long as required by tax, accounting, and other laws (typically up to seven years), and then deleted or anonymized.
§ 08Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable providers for storage and document exchange. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take protecting financial information seriously; it is our profession.
§ 09Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your state of residence, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Our practice is simple: email us at info@profitlineaccounting.space and we will honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete your information regardless of where you live, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example, tax records). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
§ 10Children
The website and our services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
§ 11Where Data Is Processed
We are based in the United States and process information in the U.S. If you access the website from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
§ 12Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
